Before us is an impressive example of modern minimalist architecture embodied in a two-story private residence with an exceptionally expressive concrete facade. The structure presents a clear geometric composition of rectangular volumes of varying heights, creating a dynamic yet balanced silhouette.
The facade is executed in exposed concrete (béton brut) technique, where the material displays its natural texture and formwork patterns. Horizontal lines on the concrete surfaces create a subtle rhythmic structure, emphasizing the monolithic nature of the construction. The absence of decorative elements is compensated by the expressive interplay of volumes and the contrast between massive concrete walls and large glass surfaces.
Special expressiveness is added to the facade by floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, which visually lighten the massiveness of the concrete structure and create an effect of "floating" volumes. In the evening, thanks to interior lighting, the house transforms into a luminous sculpture, where the interior becomes part of the external architectural expression. Corner glazing on both the first and second floors enhances the effect of transparency and connection with the surrounding landscape.
In the facade design, one can note the subtle work with cantilevers - the upper floor slightly protrudes over the lower one, creating visual dynamics and a small overhang. This technique can be successfully applied in private housing to create protected spaces and give the building a more complex and interesting silhouette.
The building is organically integrated into its natural context: surrounding trees create a soft contrast with the geometric rigor of the architecture, while the manicured lawn forms a clean space that emphasizes the sculptural quality of the object. Such an approach to landscape design enhances the expressiveness of the architectural solution.
