Modern Two-Level Façade with Wood and Stone Combination

#8096. Modern Two-Level Façade with Wood and Stone Combination

This building represents a modern two-story residential house with a distinctive architectural language that combines natural materials and clean geometric forms. The façade demonstrates a harmonious integration of various textures: dark horizontal wooden siding, natural stone, and large glass surfaces framed in rich red wooden frames.

Compositionally, the façade is divided into clear volumes. The right part of the building is completely clad in wooden siding, giving it solidity and warmth. The central and left portions of the first floor are finished with natural gray irregularly shaped stones, creating a contrast with the geometric strictness of the upper floor. The panoramic glazing of the second floor with red-brown frames provides abundant natural light to the interior spaces and visually lightens the upper part of the structure.

The organization of the garage space deserves special attention: three car bays with open entrances are organically integrated into the building's architecture and become part of the façade composition. Prestigious vehicles are visible in the garage, including a bright orange sports car, emphasizing the premium character of the residence.

The laconic entrance group is formed by a stone staircase with minimalist railings, leading to the entrance door that is harmoniously incorporated into the glass portion of the façade. The landscape design of the plot with a well-maintained lawn and neat greenery complements the architectural composition without visually overwhelming it.

When designing your own façade, several techniques from this project could be adopted: combining contrasting natural materials (wood and stone), using horizontal lines to visually expand the building, integrating functional elements (such as the garage) into the overall façade composition, and creating a balance between closed and open, transparent surfaces to achieve a harmonious image.
