Multi-level façade with wooden cladding and expressive eaves

#8092. Multi-level façade with wooden cladding and expressive eaves

This modern house is an excellent example of the organic combination of natural materials and dynamic architectural composition. The façade features a dual-tone scheme: the lower section is clad in light-colored stone and plaster, while the upper floors are finished in warm wooden cladding, creating a striking contrast.

The expressive horizontal roof lines with wide overhangs deserve special attention, giving the building a characteristic Asian motif reminiscent of traditional Japanese architecture. These projecting elements are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, providing natural protection from precipitation and sun.

The façade is distinguished by a clear rhythm of horizontal wooden panels, narrow horizontal windows in the upper section, and more open glazed surfaces in the lower part. The stone retaining walls of the terraces are organically integrated into the landscape, creating a smooth transition between the structure and the surrounding environment.

This approach to façade design can be adopted when creating your own home: combining contrasting materials (stone and wood), using projecting roof elements to create depth and protection, and organizing terraces with retaining walls helps create not only an aesthetically pleasing but also functional living space that harmoniously fits into the surrounding landscape.
