Modern House with Contrasting Facade: Metal Panels and Warm Wood

#7933. Modern House with Contrasting Facade: Metal Panels and Warm Wood

The photograph showcases a modern two-story house with a minimalist design and expressive contrast of materials. The building's facade is clad with dark gray vertical metal panels, creating a strict and laconic appearance. This "vertical siding" cladding gives the building an industrial character while remaining within the framework of contemporary residential architecture trends.

The architectural solution includes an asymmetrical gabled roof that adds dynamism to the overall composition. Window openings of various sizes with white frames create contrast with the dark facade and provide good natural lighting to the interior spaces. On the second floor, there is a small terrace with frosted glass railing, which adds depth to the facade.

Of particular interest is the wooden fence on the first floor, made of horizontally arranged light boards. This element not only functionally separates the adjacent territory but also softens the overall austere appearance of the metal facade, creating a warm accent. Warmth is also added by wooden cornice elements under the roof, finished in the same tone as the fence.

The facade lighting is resolved with compact wall-mounted fixtures, strategically placed to illuminate entrance areas and the terrace. In the right part of the building, a garage section with roller shutters is integrated into the overall volume of the structure. Young plantings around the house indicate that landscaping is still in the process of development.
