Mountain chalet with dynamic wood and stone facade

#7777. Mountain chalet with dynamic wood and stone facade

This architectural object represents a modern wooden house in chalet style with elements of mountain architecture. The facade is constructed from horizontally laid logs of a warm amber hue, creating a striking contrast with the dark metal roofing.

The spatial composition of the house is characterized by an asymmetrical structure with dynamic roof slopes of varying heights. Particular attention is drawn to the panoramic glazing of the left wing, framed by wooden structures, which provides abundant natural light to the interior spaces and visually expands the space.

The facade organically combines natural materials: log cladding, stone masonry of the foundation and chimney, as well as wooden elements of the terrace. The monumental stone chimney, made of irregular gray stones, serves as a vertical dominant of the composition, balancing the horizontal lines of the wooden cladding.

A special role in the architectural image is played by the original terrace with wooden railings and a canopy made of unprocessed logs, emphasizing the rustic character of the building. The stone staircase with wooden handrails creates a smooth transition between the levels of the site, harmoniously integrating the building into the landscape.

Windows with wooden frames are rationally positioned, providing good insolation to the rooms, while their size and shape vary depending on the functional purpose of the interior spaces. Overall, the facade demonstrates a balanced approach to a modern interpretation of traditional wooden architecture.
