This modern wooden house, nestled in a pine forest, offers a bold architectural solution with a harmonious combination of natural materials. The facade is completely clad in vertical wooden slats of a warm amber hue, creating a rhythmic pattern around the entire perimeter of the structure. This technique not only gives the building visual integrity but also ensures natural integration into the surrounding forest landscape.
The upper volume of the building is designed as an extended horizontal parallelepiped that dramatically overhangs a concrete base. The foundation is made of monolithic concrete with clear geometry and a minimalist approach, creating an interesting dialogue between the "warm" wood and "cold" concrete. The glazing on the left side of the building provides a visual connection with nature and fills the interior spaces with natural light.
Particularly noteworthy is the contrast of textures: the smooth concrete surface of the lower tier emphasizes the natural texture of the wooden cladding of the upper volume. A delicate vertical accent in the form of a low tower (possibly for technical purposes) on the roof breaks up the horizontality of the main volume. The landscaping with combined paving and preservation of the natural environment demonstrates the architects' attentive approach to the ecological context of the project.
