#7696. Perforated Brick Façade: A Contemporary Interpretation of Traditional Architecture

The presented building demonstrates a contemporary approach to brick architecture with an expressive perforated façade. The main volume is clad in terracotta brick with a rhythmic pattern of offset bricks, creating an effect of permeability and a play of light and shadow on the wall surfaces.

The façade features a thoughtful composition of rectangular volumes of varying heights, where the brick texture becomes the main expressive element. Of particular interest is the perforated brickwork with deliberately omitted bricks forming an ordered geometric pattern across the façade plane. Window openings are minimalist and organically integrated into the overall composition.

The concrete canopy at the entrance group creates an expressive contrast with the warm brick texture, introducing material diversity and visually lightening the composition. The metal fencing with transparent sections harmoniously complements the architectural image, separating a small landscaped area in front of the house.

The surrounding greenery softens the strict geometry of the building, creating a pleasant transition between urban architecture and the natural environment. Overall, the project demonstrates a successful contemporary reinterpretation of traditional brick architecture with an emphasis on tactility and the textural richness of the material.
