Dual-Volume Facade: Concrete and Wood in Minimalist Architecture

#7615. Dual-Volume Facade: Concrete and Wood in Minimalist Architecture

This modern country house is an elegant example of minimalist architecture, where clear geometric shapes coexist with warm natural textures. The building's facade is organized as a composition of two offset volumes with flat roofs, creating a dynamic, asymmetrical silhouette.

Architectural expressiveness is achieved through the contrasting combination of gray concrete and dark wood panels that clad a significant portion of the front facade. Particularly noteworthy is the use of horizontal wooden slats on the right part of the building, which serve not only an aesthetic purpose but also function as sun-protective screens.

Large panoramic windows, asymmetrically positioned, provide abundant natural light and create a visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The entrance area features a massive wooden door that harmoniously integrates into the overall facade composition. The minimalist approach in design is emphasized by the absence of decorative elements – the architectural solution is based on the interplay of volumes, materials, and proportions.

An important element of the exterior is the landscape design, where a neat lawn, low shrubs, and rocky areas highlight the geometric purity of the architectural forms. The house fits well into the surrounding environment of tall coniferous trees, creating an interesting dialogue between the natural and the man-made.

We design facades of country houses.
