This mountain chalet is an excellent example of a contemporary interpretation of traditional Alpine architecture, harmoniously integrated into the forest landscape. The building's façade demonstrates a thoughtful combination of various materials: wooden cladding in natural tones dominates the main part of the exterior, while stone masonry is used in the lower section and on specific structural elements, creating a visual balance and connection with the natural surroundings.
The most expressive elements of the façade are the gabled roofs with protruding wooden rafters, which not only serve a decorative function but also create the characteristic silhouette of a chalet. Extensive glazing—panoramic windows with dark frames—creates contrast with the wooden finish and ensures maximum penetration of natural light, as well as a visual connection with the surrounding forest. The glazed pavilion on the left deserves special attention, where glass walls almost completely replace traditional ones, creating the effect of a blurred boundary between interior and exterior spaces.
The architectural composition of the house consists of several volumes of different heights, which adds dynamism to the overall appearance. The central volume with a tall black chimney serves as the visual and functional core of the entire structure. The open terrace and balcony with modern metal mesh railings expand the living space, providing additional opportunities for contemplating nature. The soft evening lighting, visible through the windows, emphasizes the cozy character of the dwelling and accentuates the architectural features of the façade even in the twilight.
