#2772. Modern Country House with Wooden Slatted Facade

This modern country house demonstrates a harmonious balance between nature and architecture through its thoughtful facade solution. The composition is based on a clear horizontal line of the structure with an expressive wooden screen of vertical slats, creating a light rhythmic pattern on the upper level of the facade. This detail not only serves a decorative function but also works as an element of sun protection.

The ground floor of the building is designed in a minimalist open style – large glass sliding panels create a transparent boundary between internal and external space. Structural concrete columns support the overhanging second level, forming a protected terrace. The facade materials present a successful combination of natural wood, concrete, and glass, allowing the building to organically fit into the surrounding landscape.

Special attention deserves the thoughtful interaction with the site – the wooden decking of the terrace smoothly transitions into a well-maintained lawn, and hanging woven cocoon chairs serve as a connecting element between the architecture of the house and the natural surroundings. The vertical wooden slats of the upper part of the facade echo the verticals of young trees on the site, creating visual harmony. A light pergola on the right side complements the composition, extending the living space toward the garden.
