This architectural object represents an impressive combination of traditional and contemporary design, situated on a waterfront. The facade demonstrates a contrasting use of materials: the lower part is clad in dark wooden shingles, creating a textural, almost scale-like effect, while the upper portion is contrastingly lightened through glass surfaces framed in red.
Particularly noteworthy are two bright red cylindrical elements (possibly chimneys or ventilation shafts) that protrude from the side of the facade, adding an accent color and geometric expressiveness. The triangular roof slope with glazing creates a modern interpretation of a classic form, allowing maximum natural light into the interior.
The most dramatic design element is the grand, wide staircase that cascades down to the water, integrating the building into the landscape and creating an amphitheater effect facing the natural scenery. The staircase is not only a functional element but also an architectural extension of the building itself, blurring the boundary between structure and surrounding environment.
This project demonstrates several techniques that can be adapted for private housing: contrasting combination of materials (traditional cladding and modern glazing), use of architectural accents in bright colors, integration of the building into the landscape through transitional elements, and maximizing the site's visual characteristics through panoramic glazing directed toward the picturesque landscape.
