#12187. Industrial Facade: Contrast of Brick and Corten Steel

This modern residential building is a striking example of industrial aesthetics in architecture. The facade showcases an interesting combination of materials - traditional brickwork and Corten steel with its characteristic rusty patina. This contrast creates an expressive texture and color palette in warm earthy tones.

Compositionally, the building has clear geometric forms with a flat roof and minimalist lines. The right side of the facade is completely clad in Corten steel panels, where garage doors and second-floor window openings are placed. The left part is made of red brick, laid with special attention to detail, creating an interesting play of light and shadow on the surface.

The property's enclosure also supports the overall concept, using the same materials: vertical metal elements and Corten panels. The metal gate organically fits into the general composition. The clear blue sky in the background emphasizes the richness and warmth of the facade colors.

For private construction, this example demonstrates several interesting techniques: combining different textures (smooth metal and textured brick), using oxidized steel as a decorative element that only improves its aesthetic qualities over time, and the principle of material honesty, where their actual properties become part of the design solution. This approach allows creating a modern house with character without resorting to excessive decoration.
