Modern two-level facade with contrasting wood and white stucco

#12120. Modern two-level facade with contrasting wood and white stucco

This modern house represents a striking example of minimalist architecture with a contrasting combination of materials. The facade features two primary textures: warm wooden cladding on the upper level and clean white stucco on the lower level. This solution not only visually lightens the massive structure but also creates an interesting interplay of textures.

A distinctive feature of the house is the protruding glass pavilion on the ground floor, which serves as an extension of the living space and provides a seamless transition between interior and exterior. Large panoramic windows are framed with thin profiles, emphasizing the contemporary aesthetic and maximizing natural light inside the space. Bright yellow chairs can be spotted in this area, creating a vibrant accent.

The architectural composition is built on a combination of rectangular volumes of varying heights, which adds dynamism to the facade. Clean lines, minimal decorative elements, and functionality of form are the key principles of this project. The landscape approach also deserves attention: concrete slabs organize the path to the entrance through a well-maintained lawn, complemented by low-growing plants and floral compositions.

When designing your own facade, you can adopt the following techniques: combining contrasting materials (wood and stucco), using large glazed surfaces to create transparency and space, playing with the geometry of volumes to add dynamism, and integrating the house into the surrounding landscape through well-thought-out transition zones between the home and the plot.
