Dualistic Forest Façade: A Play of Contrasts and Textures

#11291. Dualistic Forest Façade: A Play of Contrasts and Textures

This is a striking example of modern forest architecture with a distinctly contrasting façade solution. The building's composition is based on a combination of different volumes and materials: the lower level is clad in warm wood with horizontal slats, creating a sense of solidity and connection with the surrounding landscape. The upper volume demonstrates dualism: part of the façade is done in white with characteristic horizontal louvers, while another part features dark brown vertical cladding, adding dynamics and depth to the entire composition.

Particular attention is drawn to the play with textures and the direction of finishing elements — horizontal lines in some areas are juxtaposed with vertical ones in others. Large panoramic windows with blinds on the lower level provide a visual connection with nature while allowing regulation of privacy. Terraces and projecting elements create an interesting play of light and shadow on the façade.

In the design, one can note the successful use of a "multi-layered" façade approach — different planes, projections, and canopies form a volumetric composition. This approach can be applied in private housing, using contrasting materials to highlight the functional zones of the building. The combination of wood in different shades with white elements is a classic technique that remains relevant and gives the building both a contemporary and organic appearance, especially in a forest setting.
