Before us stands an excellent example of 1930s Art Deco architecture — Beacon House. The facade demonstrates the characteristic geometric forms and vertical lines typical of this style. The central facade is accentuated by three vertical strips of glazing with diagonal lattice patterns, which create an expressive rhythmic accent and visually increase the height of the building.
The structure is built of red brick with contrasting horizontal bands of light-colored stone framing the windows and separating the floors. The sides of the building are formed by curved bay windows with panoramic glazing, which softens the overall geometric composition. The main entrance is highlighted by a rectangular canopy bearing the inscription "BEACON HOUSE" and is complemented by vertical decorative elements that continue the general motif of the facade.
The building has four floors and is crowned with small flagpoles, which was typical for public and commercial buildings of that period. The facade displays signage for "Heliting" company, which, according to the information panel, deals with insurance, mortgages, financial services, and property management. The building has wonderfully preserved its original appearance, serving as a striking example of commercial architecture from the interwar period.
